In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Schedule

  • Position Type: Part Time
  • Day: Wednesday 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM
  • Thursday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
  • Saturday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Pay

$27.32 / Hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support the control of entry and exit for people, vehicles, and materials in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support reporting and recordkeeping related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy concerns, while following Allied Universal standards and post orders.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
