Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
Maintain required armed post qualifications, follow applicable laws and Allied Universal policies, and complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Requirements

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III armed certification in Texas.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
