As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. • Wednesday: 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• Thursday: 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• Sunday: 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and maintain required armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
