Responsibilities

Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.

Maintain a clean motor vehicle record, as you may be required to operate a company vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities.

Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.

Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.

Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

Site Location: Manchester, CT

Set schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Sunday (8 Hours)

Competitive hourly wage of $37.50 / hour

Qualifications

You are 21 years old or older

You have a state security license (CT state Blue Card) valid armed endorsement

You have a minimum of six (6) months of armed work experience which may include military and/or law enforcement experience.

You have passed an LEAI Assessment (62% or higher)

You have passed government-required live-fire testing and meet minimum scores as established by the state of Connecticut.

You have completed a standard NRA course of fire with eighty percent (80%) proficiency

You have passed a standard GWSS employee physical

You have passed a modified agility exam to include lifting and moving and flexibility testing. (The Kraus Weber Test)

You have completed a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE). HPE is based on agility, walking, running and lifting

You currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations

You provide personally owned duty weapon (9mm caliber handgun & three (3) magazines of a minimum 10 round capacity)

You complete certification to carry an approved less-lethal alternative. (OC Spray)

Skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Clean motor vehicle record and ability to operate a security vehicle

Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
