Armed Protection & Surveillance Midnights - Royal Oak MI

Duties & Responsibilities

• Roam assigned areas to prevent crime and unauthorized entry.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Utilize weapon detection systems and tools.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Conduct security checks of buildings and grounds.
• Interview people entering and leaving the premises.
• Enforce client security policies and procedures.
• Report suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
• Provide protective escort.
• Identify and address security vulnerabilities and gaps.

Qualifications

• General Qualifications Sought: Associate degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military related skill, or security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong physical and mental fitness.
• Licensed to carry a firearm in the state where the position is located.
• Must complete a training program in security procedures and the use of force.
• Maintain current certifications in first aid, CPR and AED.
• Pass psychological and medical screenings upon request.
• Ability to deliver superior customer service and courtesy to all of our clients.
