Job Summary

Position: Finance Director

Employer: Arizona Democratic Party

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States

Responsibilities

• Manage the party’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Oversee the procurement and management of resources, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance fundraising efforts and secure additional funding sources.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to staff on financial matters, ensuring best practices are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or a related field, preferably in a political environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
