Director of Finance

Essential Functions

• Oversees monthly closing, prepares financial statements, and maintains strict internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
• Develops long-term financial plans, conducts and analyzes financial data to guide executive decision-making.
• Analyzes revenue streams to reduce losses, monitors capital expenditures, and manages medical cost analysis.
• Ensures adherence to federal and state health regulations.
• Responsible for supervision of billing and collections staff.
• Prepares cost reports for all facilities.
• Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
