The AVP leads a team of individuals, responsible for all aspects of performance, including sales, service, customer experience, network, and retailer relations. As Area Vice President, you will serve as the commercial business partner to our retailers, driving strategic transformation and supporting change initiatives across the region. This leadership role is pivotal in aligning key market operations with broader corporate goals, fostering innovation, and ensuring sustainable commercial success. What you will be doing:Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with retail partners to support mutual growth and success.Champion retailer engagement in strategic initiatives, including digital transformation, electrification, and customer experience enhancementsStrategically plan with our retailers on how they grow their business and ensure they are investing in the necessary people, technology, and facilities to represent JLR.Identify and implement opportunities to optimize revenue, profitability, and market share, collaborating with finance, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment on commercial goalsCoach team members on approaches to optimizing performance and leading retailers through change and the adoption of modern luxury behaviors.Support retailers through periods of change, including new product launches, technology adoption, retail model changes, and our modern luxury strategy, through effective change and communication strategies that to drive adoptionWork closely with internal teams including product, digital, and customer experience to provide insight from retailers and customersMonitor retailer performance and ensure the sales and service market managers are implementing measurable and effective process improvements to drive sales and service performance.Develop creative ideas that are region and market specific to further optimize performance of the retail network. What you will need:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance or the Equivalent experience.10+ years of experience with automotive retailer operations preferredAbility to manage a variety of strategic initiatives simultaneouslyRelationship driven individual with strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skillsGrowth mindsetBreadth of experience across different disciplinesExceptional leadership to coach and manage the teamStrong analytical skillsetStrong change management skills Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
