Job Responsibilities
- Lead direct sales efforts and support team members in acquiring and retaining clients.
- Recruit, interview, and build a team of 3–5 Global Sales Directors reporting directly to you.
- Coach, train, and evaluate team performance, including conducting regular reviews.
- Drive the sales of various services, including proprietary software, group, and incentive travel solutions.
- Collaborate with international partners to develop and submit global bids.
- Develop sales collateral in partnership with the Marketing team.
- Conduct competitive analysis and manage ongoing sales reporting and forecasting.
- Travel as required to support sales initiatives and team activities.
- Close and support deals with corporate clients with annual travel budgets ranging from $750K to $50M.
- Build strong client relationships, particularly with mid to large-size and global accounts.
Job Requirements
- Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership and coaching abilities, with experience mentoring diverse sales teams; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives; self-motivated with excellent prioritization and time-management skills; adept at articulating solutions tailored to client needs and influencing key decision-makers.
- Sales Strategy & Channel Development: Skilled in identifying client pain points and proposing tailored service solutions; ability to grow and manage strategic partner channels to drive sales expansion; experience in developing and implementing effective sales processes and frameworks.
- Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Proficient in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to analyze and report on sales performance metrics in a timely, accurate manner; strong understanding of contracts, pricing, ROI analysis, and supplier negotiations.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of travel agency operations and the evolving travel distribution landscape; experience marketing services, including travel technology, incentive programs, and expense management tools; familiarity with key industry partners, airlines, car rental agencies, and hotel platforms.
- Management and Innovation Skills: Demonstrated success in managing and inspiring high-performing teams across all levels; experience selling complex, high-value solutions and services to enterprise clients; innovative thinker with a track record of process improvements and strategic contributions; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver projects on time.
