Area Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of multiple sites.
• Develop operating budgets and control expenses within those budgets.
• Create a safe, positive, and achievement-oriented workplace environment.
• Respond to customers' inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Maintain oversight of ongoing work, identify issues, and resolve them.
• Implement production plans according to approved schedules.
• Implement new policies and procedures to align with site goals.
• Review and approve corrective action plans.
• Hire and train new employees.
• Plan, assign, and direct work to employees.
• Maintain employee attendance records and leave reports.
• Distribute uniforms to employees.
• Ensure compliance with SBM policies and procedures.
• Ensure operational excellence through training, coaching, discipline, and encouragement of team members.
• Develop processes for locations and individual performance evaluations.
• Develop disciplinary and behavioral standards for employees to enhance work efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in the industry.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in various computer programs.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to details.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work; conduct performance evaluations; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or listen.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Pay & Benefits

Wage: $55k - $60k annually.
