Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday, Area Service Representative (ASR) to provide delivery of products and service of display/equipment while delivering superior customer service to established retail accounts. Route requires overnight travel one night per week, depending on company needs.

About the role

The Area Service Representative ensures rental displays are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at multiple retail locations on an assigned route. Responsibilities include inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental machines, as well as implementing new and improved processes and procedures. The role projects Rug Doctor’s confidence and safety while delivering customer-friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and service display/equipment to retail accounts
• Maintain clean, stocked, and well-maintained rental displays
• Inspect, clean, and service rental machines
• Implement new and improved processes and procedures as needed
• Provide superior customer service to retail accounts
• Work independently and manage productivity in a fast-paced environment
• Perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Manually push/pull up to 75 lbs
• Work in varying climates (hot, cold, etc.)
• Drive a vehicle for consecutive hours during the day

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to meet physical requirements: bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting/raising up to 50 lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work in different climates
• Available for overnight travel one night per week, depending on company needs
• Available full-time, 38-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
