Area Sales & Design Specialist

Overview

"Design" your career at Tuff Shed! We are seeking an Area Sales & Design Specialist who is competitive, influential, organized, and possesses outstanding interpersonal skills. The role offers an unlimited commission program, hands‑on training by local and regional leaders, and the opportunity to work on‑site at assigned Home Depot stores.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and provide design consultation services to clients.
• Work on‑site at assigned Home Depot stores within a specific territory, managing relationships with store leaders and associates.
• Leverage Home Depot employees and customer traffic to generate leads and sales.
• Manage a sales pipeline and regularly plan, coordinate, and execute lead‑generating events.
• Train others and communicate product knowledge.
• Maintain Tuff Shed displays—ensure they are presentable, clean, and signage is up‑to‑date.
• Partner with Home Depot leaders to provide updates on sales performance, merchandising, and displays.
• Utilize proven computer skills and quickly learn new software.

Requirements

• Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
• Proven relationship‑building skills.
• Current valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.

Compensation

Annual compensation could potentially be between $55,000 – $75,000 with commission. Eligible for a Sales Performance Incentive Bonus, earned commissions, and a weekly minimum guaranteed subsidy payment if earned commissions fall below the guarantee.

Schedule

Standard retail hours with required weekend work, holidays, and some evenings. All duties are performed on‑site at assigned Home Depot locations.
