Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) – Full-Time

Location: Wasco County
Pay: $25.75 per hour (DOE) + $1,000 Hiring Bonus
Full-Time Schedule | Must Be Flexible to Work Across Multiple Locations

Community Access Services is hiring an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across multiple residential programs.

Responsibilities

• Help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible while building meaningful relationships.
• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development.
• Administer medications and complete documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Advocate for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people you support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a direct care role and working with individuals with disabilities required.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements to become a company driver.
• Able to pass a national background check.
• Strong reliability and willingness to work across multiple locations as needed.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.
