About the role

We believe that great healthcare starts with great leadership. As an Area Program Manager, you are the heartbeat of that mission in the field, leading our frontline hospital programs, supporting our nurses and tech teams, taking care of our hospital partners, and making sure our daily operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

Your main job is to be present in the field, coaching your team, building strong relationships with hospital leaders, and making sure our shifts run on time and by the book. You will use three core strengths every day: supporting and empowering your team, building strong hospital relationships, and solving operational problems.

  • Supporting and empowering your team by mentoring staff, creating fair schedules, and making sure everyone feels confident and supported in busy hospital environments.
  • Building strong hospital relationships by talking regularly with hospital nursing directors, ICU managers, and doctors to keep communication open and handle any operational questions.
  • Solving operational problems by keeping an eye on day-to-day details, making sure chart documentation is clean and complete, equipment is ready to go, and safety standards are met.

Requirements

  • Healthcare or Operations Background: An active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 2+ years leading a team in a healthcare setting, managing schedules and working directly with clients or hospital staff.
  • Good Organizational Skills: Ability to look at schedules, track basic metrics, keep paperwork compliant, and manage your time effectively in the field.
  • Mobility: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between hospital sites in your assigned local area.

Preferred experience includes acute care familiarity, comfort working in or around fast-paced hospital environments, and a track record of managing operational logistics.

Benefits

We offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Financial Security: Competitive salary, performance bonus opportunities, and a company-matching 401(k).
  • Health & Peace of Mind: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Time to Recharge: Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • Real Support, No "Sink or Swim": Hands-on backing from your Regional Manager, our Operations team, and Clinical Leadership.
  • Growth & Recognition: Clear paths for career advancement and regular recognition when your team wins.
  • A Culture That Cares: A welcoming, high-trust workplace where you're treated as a valued team member, not a number.

Pay and Schedule

Compensation is competitive and dependent on experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday, full-time, with day shift field leadership and managed emergency escalation.
