About the role
The Area Partner is a senior operational leader responsible for the financial performance, guest experience, and people leadership of a defined portfolio of Landmark properties.
Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership across your portfolio — revenue growth, cost discipline, EBITDA
- Annual operating plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts, built in partnership with each General Manager
- Consistent execution of Landmark standards across rooms, F&B, banquets and private events, service, and facilities
- KPI ownership: sales, labor, prime cost, RevPAR/ADR where applicable, banquet conversion, guest satisfaction, retention
- Margin and productivity initiatives, including labor optimization and demand-based scheduling
- Partnership with Culinary and Beverage leadership on menu execution, product quality, and cost control
- Hotel operations: rooms performance, front-of-house service, F&B-in-hotel integration, capital planning, and facilities oversight
- Event venues: BEO discipline, banquet conversion, group sales partnership, on-property activation, and post-event review
- Restaurants: menu execution, beverage program, service standards, and throughput
- Direct leadership of General Managers and senior property leaders within your portfolio
- Clear performance expectations, regular coaching, structured reviews, and active succession planning
- Visible field presence — you will be where the work is, not behind a desk
- Honest, well-timed conversations when they are warranted; you don't avoid conflict, you use it to make the team better
- Partnership with HR on recruiting, onboarding, retention, and employee relations
- Identification and active sponsorship of high-potential leaders across the portfolio
- Senior ambassador for Landmark with guests, clients, repeat patrons, and community partners
- Oversight of service standards, training programs, and hospitality programming across the portfolio
- Partnership with Sales & Marketing on private events, activations, and revenue-driving initiatives
- Direct involvement in escalated guest situations — thoughtful, fast, and well-resolved
- Operational leadership and stabilization support for new restaurant, venue, and hotel openings
- Partnership with corporate teams on system rollouts and process improvements
- Contribution to long-term portfolio strategy alongside Jeanne and the senior team
- Compliance across federal, NJ, and PA labor, safety, and licensing requirements
Requirements

- Multi-unit portfolio experience that includes at least one boutique hotel or high-volume events venue (this is not a restaurant-only role)
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and a track record of driving financial outcomes in high-volume environments
- Direct experience leading and developing General Managers and senior property operators
- Strong analytical fluency — you can read the P&L, the labor report, and the guest scores, and translate what you see into action
- Energized by founder-led, fast-moving environments where you are building the playbook, not just enforcing it
- Comfort with the operating reality of hospitality leadership: evenings, weekends, peak holidays, and new openings
- Experience overseeing a portfolio that includes restaurants, event venues, and hotels in combination
- Track record of opening and stabilizing new properties
- Working knowledge of Restaurant365, Toast, Paycom, TripleSeat, Opera, or comparable hospitality systems
