Area Manager - Station

About the role

The Area Manager - Station oversees operations and ensures efficient service delivery within a designated area. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage team performance and development, setting clear goals and providing feedback.
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Eighteen (18) months experience as an Ops Supervisor at FedEx required; OR
• Two (2) years required previous management experience, operational leadership, military leadership, or project/team leader experience; OR
• A combination of one (1) year as an Ops Supervisor at FedEx and (1) year previous management, operational leadership, project or team leader or military experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Proven ability to apply sound business judgment to establish and accomplish goals.
• Customer service skills necessary to effectively and professionally respond to requests and issues.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences and ability to effectively provide employees instruction on process and practice.
• Ability to read, interpret and draw conclusions from numerical data and written information.
• Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Ability to maintain a working knowledge of relevant technology-based projects, including various devices and computer-based applications.

$56,711 to $88,073 Annually
