Area Manager -New Jersey

About the role

ESCO, a division of Eurpac Services Inc., seeks an Area Manager for the company's Ft Meade, Maryland market. This role involves managing, leading, and directing a team of Base Managers (BM’s) to ensure successful distribution and sales activities across military commissaries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current distribution and meet 30-day goal on new distribution
• Goal of less than 1% gaps in sales
• Attain all volume targets and exceed DeCA sales trends
• Adhere to approved budget
• Use EAGLE Eye and Retail IQ to achieve goals
• Manage and positively influence relationships with clients and store management
• Distribute and manage distributor communication and third-party payments
• Train and manage Base Managers on company processes and procedures
• Coordinate independent contractors for display, promotion, and implementation of new items
• Manage and train teams on IT tools at the shelf
• Communicate and report in a timely manner using provided technology
• Manage and train teams on use of IT tools at the shelf
• Experts in use of EAGLE Eye and Retail IQ software
• Manage and train teams on use of IT tools at the shelf
• Other projects/requests as needed or assigned by senior leadership

Requirements

Build, install and move various racks weighing up to 100 lbs. Build displays with up to 40lb case weight

Freeze work at 0°F

Travel for store resets which last from 1 to 3 days

Occasional outside case lot sales and weekend special events

To perform the essential functions of this position, you will need military base access. Such access is granted by the military not Eurpac. Complete and maintain DD Form 3150 as required for installation and facility access.

Qualifications

Existing military base access strongly preferred
