Area Manager (L4)

About the role

Amazon is seeking Inbound Area Managers for its Fulfillment Centers (FCs). The role involves managing employees, ensuring safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity within the department.

Responsibilities

• Review work forecasts and set productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient shifts.
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.

Requirements

• Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience preferred.

Skills
