Area Manager I, Warehouse

Factor, a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking an Area Manager, Warehouse to support their Aurora, IL team.

About the role

Oversee the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, storage/distribution of goods, and logistics. Direct activities and provide coaching and guidance to associates, leads, and supervisors. Work alongside the team to ensure maximum productivity and cultivate a culture in line with HelloFresh’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution to ensure high productivity and technical integrity.
• Provide coaching and guidance to associates, leads, and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, SQF policies/procedures, and PPE/hygiene policies.
• Maintain a high level of internal and external customer service; investigate and correct customer issues and complaints.
• Perform internal audits and coordinate objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Create and implement processes and procedures; relay quality philosophy to all warehouse personnel.
• Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
• Design and develop warehousing training programs based on quarterly performance reviews.
• Interact with procurement to ensure adequate supply of inventory and ingredients.
• Address nonconformities from previous internal and external audits.
• Conduct management reviews of warehouse essential functions; follow up on and close pending preventive and corrective action requests.
• Ensure documentation and design controls are appropriate for the organization.
• Assist the management team and provide support as necessary.
• Provide employees with necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or related management work experience.
• At least 5 years of work experience in warehouse management, combined with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments as a manager.
• Experience satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.

Pay

Illinois Pay Range: $58,800—$63,000 USD
