Area Manager - Floor (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, HMSC)

About the role

Implement the business plan for your area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing, scheduling, and workloads to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety. Monitor and manage productivity through business reports, maintain quality and safety standards, and identify and resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training and development needs.
• Assign duties, coordinate workloads, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.
• Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to manage productivity.
• Ensure associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor compliance and maintain supporting documentation.
• Listen, consult, and take corrective action or make recommendations to resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
• 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience OR
• 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience OR
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Walmart Logistics Manager experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $72,050.00 - $108,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location, and stock.
