Area Manager
About the role
Lead with confidence as our Area Manager for Inventory Operations! Are you a people leader with a passion for driving efficiency and excellence? We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee and optimize inventory operations within our business.
Responsibilities
- Reinforce WIS's commitment to people and team development, working directly with District and Regional Leadership.
- Provide hands-on leadership in a competitive, structured, energetic, and demanding work environment.
- Successfully plan, organize, coordinate, and lead a team of inventory professionals during inventory events.
- Ensure solid in-event financial results through proper payroll management, expense control, and a focus on growing employee performance to increase production.
- Work varied, non-traditional hours, including early morning or late night shifts, as well as flexible schedules.
- Adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, and frequent walking.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Work 10-12 hour shifts regularly.
Requirements
- Assure a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a retail, inventory, or warehouse position, exhibiting professionalism, sense of urgency, soft skills, and the strong ability to work with others.
- Show strong people and team leadership skills with a proven track record of recruiting, hiring, training, and developing talent for future bench strength.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment drug screening, and/or MVR check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and/or meet the Fleet driver requirements, depending on the District or Region needs.
Qualifications
An associate’s degree or an equivalent of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Pay
Starting at $42,000 - $52,000 per year.
Schedule
Varying hours, including early morning or late night shifts, as well as flexible schedules.
