Area Manager

Job Description

The Area Manager oversees janitorial staff at assigned sites, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to budget. Key responsibilities include:

• Select and place janitorial personnel
• Manage daily tasks and inspect work quality
• Create schedules and paperwork
• Train and coach employees
• Communicate with customers and resolve issues
• Monitor accounts and document contacts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Prior cleaning/janitorial experience preferred
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques preferred
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
