About the role
Be part of the Innovation Center Manufacturing team as an Area Manager (2nd Shift), producing high-performance tires for Goodyear Racing.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of production associates
- Ensure safe and efficient production flow while maintaining quality standards
- Promote and enforce plant safety practices
- Adeherence to procedures, audits, and standard work
- Drive continuous improvement and support operational goals (safety, quality, cost, delivery)
What You Will Do
- Lead day-to-day operations for the 2nd shift
- Maintain production targets through monitoring performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Operations)
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant manufacturing or operations experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
