Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Property Manager to ensure proper execution of the approved preventative maintenance schedule established for assigned property(ies).
- Implement and maintains environmentally responsible guidelines, as outlined by ownership.
- Ensure that on-call maintenance and emergency response is executed, as required.
- Collaborate with Property Manager to ensure that maintenance contracts meet or exceed the best possible quality and expense standards.
- Ensure that all Physical Product Practices (P3) of Operational Excellence are followed, monitored, and completed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training and expertise in one or more building trades.
- Minimum of two (2) years in skilled maintenance work.
Qualifications
- Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing.
- Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
- Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
- Make working sketches.
- Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
- Interpret and understand maintenance information generated from property management software reports.
- Basic computer skills.
Skills
- Technical certifications preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of environmental responsibility guidelines.
- Ability to follow operational excellence practices.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams.
- Skilled in using maintenance and testing equipment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
