Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Property Manager to ensure proper execution of the approved preventative maintenance schedule established for assigned property(ies).
  • Implement and maintains environmentally responsible guidelines, as outlined by ownership.
  • Ensure that on-call maintenance and emergency response is executed, as required.
  • Collaborate with Property Manager to ensure that maintenance contracts meet or exceed the best possible quality and expense standards.
  • Ensure that all Physical Product Practices (P3) of Operational Excellence are followed, monitored, and completed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training and expertise in one or more building trades.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in skilled maintenance work.

Qualifications

  • Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
  • Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Make working sketches.
  • Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
  • Interpret and understand maintenance information generated from property management software reports.
  • Basic computer skills.

Skills

  • Technical certifications preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of environmental responsibility guidelines.
  • Ability to follow operational excellence practices.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams.
  • Skilled in using maintenance and testing equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

This is an on-site position, based out of several affordable housing apartment communities in the Denver area.
