Area Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

Oversee 12‑14 store locations in a fast‑paced environment, train employees to deliver exceptional customer service, and witness first‑hand why 7‑Eleven has the best customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs
• Controlling cash and inventory
• Motivating and team building
• Promoting excellent customer service
• Managing profit and loss, including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses
• Setting performance goals and objectives and monitoring results with upper management

Requirements

• Four‑year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
• Maintain automotive liability insurance during employment

Skills

• Ability to multi‑task and be self‑motivated
• Physical demands: repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Previous multi‑unit management experience preferred

Pay

Position salary range: $80,000 – $85,000.

Pay range: $43,888.00 – $91,944.00 annual.
