Area Drinking Water Business Class Lead
About the role
Join HDR’s Minnesota and Wisconsin Water Business Group as a Water Treatment Business Class Lead. Our team is recognized for its expertise in planning, designing, and delivering complex water infrastructure projects, including water system planning, water quality, condition assessment, and drinking water treatment facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead critical area and regional projects from planning to construction phases
- Oversee coordination, monitoring, and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and deliverables
- Participate in project delivery from planning, design, through construction phases to meet client expectations
- Serve as a project manager or design manager
- Manage staff, deliver projects, and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients
- Provide leadership through mentoring, directing, and delegating staff
- Interface with regional and national technical leaders to advance local capabilities and support national pursuits and project delivery efforts related to your expertise
- Engage in industry groups and hold leadership roles to enhance HDR’s technical expertise and brand
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- 10+ years of experience
- Committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values
- Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
- Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on business class efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand both locally and nationally
Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
