About the role
Will work closely with Executive Director of Ambulatory Operations to develop and implement new practices and practice sites in and around the Cumberland County, NC area. Will oversee operations for both new and existing FirstHealth practices.
Responsibilities
- Identifies appropriate practice models and implements necessary support for the designated practice or specialty.
- Correctly establishes the infrastructures needed to create and maintain the practice; including but not limited to staffing, equipment and supplies, plus establishes appropriate outside contracts.
- Works through processes and workflows utilizing LEAN.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
- Healthcare Certification in compliance, coding or areas associated with practice management preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in active multi practice management and/or project management.
- Supervisory Experience Required.
- Extensive experience with EMR utilization and implementation (EPIC preferred).
- Extensive Experience In Ambulatory (physician Clinic) Operations Required.
- Must be capable of managing resources and implementing strategic plans that generate growth and new volume in a practice setting.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with regulations and standards to maintain survey readiness for DNV & other regulatory agencies.
- Knowledgeable about multiple systems and how each interrelates to a clinical setting.
- Ability to plan, organize, and work independently.
- Ability to practice effective communication techniques both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and identify priorities within varied work requirements of this position.
- Detail oriented.

- Training & presentation experience.

- Capable of managing multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
- Customer service oriented.
- Possess strong people skills.
- Collaboratively lead and support FHPG clinic operations within their assigned areas.
- Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, insurance guidelines - including but not limited to reimbursement, third party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10 and CPT coding.
