Area Clinical Manager - Perfusion - Generous Salary, $25K Bonus, Plus Living Expenses!

Position Summary

The Area Clinical Manager is responsible for one or more accounts or programs in a specific geographic area and may manage staff, productivity, scheduling, inventory, physician relations, and clinical activities to achieve or exceed operational and financial targets.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinates the scheduling of clinical associates, including vacation scheduling.
• Manages productivity, labor and the budget for the accounts to meet or exceed targets.
• Collects and reports quality indicator data as required.
• Demonstrates quality improvement.
• Performs perfusion and other clinical services on a regular basis.
• Maintains current credentialing file for associates.
• Develops and implements corrective action to address clinical, credentialing or operational issues.
• Participates in appropriate hospital committees for demonstration of quality, blood, and process and outcome improvement.
• Manages employment activities of clinical associates at the accounts or programs that may include recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new associates; developing associates through orientation, training and education; appraising and rewarding performance; managing employee relations issues; developing and managing open communications; conducting regular associate meetings; and managing change.

Qualifications

• Current certification from American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or meets other Company requirements as a Perfusionist.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Perfusionist including experience as a lead Perfusionist.
• Additional levels of experience as a certified Perfusionist may vary by position based on clinical and operational needs.
