About the role

Our Client Relations Manager is an operational team leader over a staff of HOA Community Managers who handle the day-to-day business and projects of a portfolio of HOA communities, including financials, vendors, public meetings, and administration. Experience in the HOA management industry is not required; we provide a comprehensive training program and learning system to develop expertise. We seek a leader with a servant attitude who enjoys developing and supporting others. Candidates from hospitality, retail, and restaurant backgrounds can be very successful, and weekends are free with holidays celebrated with family and friends.

In this role, you will grow professionally in team leadership and development, presentation skills, negotiation, HR requirements, fiscal management, conflict resolution, planning, and legal requirements. The career growth track leads into director and senior leadership roles. The position reports to the Division President for Client Relations and is based at 9151 Blvd 26 – Suite 375-B, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.

Responsibilities

  • Become the technical expert and specialist on Texas Property Code
  • Manage, lead, and develop a team of Community Managers and other staff to ensure consistent service product delivery
  • Provide staff with ongoing development, training, and coaching
  • Develop relationships with the Board of Directors we serve and solve escalated challenges from homeowners
  • Work closely with the Division Director on staff development, customer portfolio, and division direction
  • Manage daily activities, including determining Community Manager work assignments and reviewing employee activities for completeness, accuracy, and effectiveness
  • Attend frequent customer evening board meetings and conduct site drives to learn the properties we serve
  • Be an always-positive opinion-maker in the leadership team and believe in the good in people

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of solid leadership and management experience
  • Experience leading a team of ten or more employees for at least 6 years
  • Proven record of accomplishment in a customer service environment
  • Experience managing a demanding service product with deadlines and legal requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness to attend evening meetings once or twice per week, typically 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Talent for team development and motivation; competitive and quality-oriented
  • Strong focus on deadlines, accuracy, proactive communication, and technical accuracy

Pay

Salary range: $65,000 – $70,000 based on experience. This is a salaried, exempt position.

Schedule

Full-time, more than 40 hours per week. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some evening meetings required (typically once or twice per week, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
