Area Assistant Manager - Hourly
About the Role
Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, is seeking a bright, dynamic leader with a passion for service and a commitment to excellence to join our team as an Area Assistant Manager. This role supports the Property Manager in daily operations while providing exceptional leadership and focusing on professional development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and schedule property viewings, conduct property tours, and interview prospective tenants.
- Address and resolve residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Process applications, conduct credit checks, and negotiate contracts.
- Inspect property conditions and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Manage budgets, accounts, rent collections, and tenant notices.
- Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants.
- Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
- Report any problems or issues to the property manager.
- Operate in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and demonstrating effective interpersonal skills.
- Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role or related field.
- Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to change.

Physical Demands
The position requires regularly sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and communicating with residents, staff, family members, and the public. You may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow, and occasionally extreme conditions while performing outdoor tasks. Periodic confinement to a vehicle is also required.
