Architectural Tech I
Responsibilities
Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities.
Aids in the layout of projects and integrates engineering elements into unified designs for customer review and approval.
Produces scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.
Periodically assists design managers in reviewing and coordinating project submittals.
Makes periodic observations of construction work during site visits to ensure compliance with plans.
Develops studies and reports as needed.
Uses computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2 to 5 years of experience; or the equivalent combination of both education and experience.
- Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred.
- Experience producing architectural drawings is required.
- Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, design software, and email.
- Physical presence in a Gray office.
