About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager (Healthcare) to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from pre-design through construction administration.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing document quality control reviews
  • Manage client relationships, understanding their needs and cultural nuances
  • Encourage project team members to promote and market Beck
  • Promote collaboration and integration throughout the design and construction process
  • Manage documentation and quality control of documents on smaller jobs
  • Research, understand, and comply with architecture practice statutes in the project’s jurisdiction
  • Apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes
  • Understand and lead the development of project manuals
  • Manage project and professional liability and actively monitor for conditions that could increase risk
  • Work closely with the Project Designer to execute the vision and spirit of the design
  • Actively manage budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; and project team assignments
  • Manage the project process and team along with performing annual employee reviews
  • Mentor and train younger staff

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant architecture experience, with healthcare experience preferred
  • College graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degree
  • Professional registration
  • Frequent physical demands including sitting, standing, moving, lifting up to 10 lbs, operating computers, attending client meetings, coordinating with project teams, and adhering to architectural standards.

  • Ability to set clear expectations and sell Beck to clients
  • Desire to innovate in process improvement and technology

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Knowledge of architectural practices and compliance with local regulations
