About the role

The Project Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of mission-critical facilities. This position requires a deep understanding of building codes, sustainability practices, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements design solutions that meet client needs and comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborates with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manages project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Ensures compliance with environmental standards and sustainable practices in all projects.
  • Conducts site visits and reviews to assess project feasibility and make necessary adjustments to the design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design and construction management.
  • Professional Architect License required.
  • Experience with mission-critical facility design and construction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of LEED certification and sustainable design principles.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Understanding of green building certifications like LEED, WELL, or others.
