Responsibilities
- Directs multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion
- Develops and manages the project scope, schedule, fee structure, and budget ensuring alignment with client expectations
- Led client meetings, provides relevant project solutions, and addresses client concerns promptly
- Manages resources, ensures the project team is properly staffed, and adjusts staffing as necessary to meet deadlines and maintain profitability
- Identifies and mitigates project risks that may affect timelines, budgets, or quality
- Maintains project financial health by reviewing billing, expenses, and staff utilization and work plans to ensure project profitability
- Collaborates with subconsultants by negotiating agreements, defining their scope of work, and ensuring timely deliverables and that all contractual obligations are met
- Oversees construction phase services and leads the project closeout process, including preparing final deliverables, coordinating punch lists, and ensuring substantial completion is achieved
Qualifications
- Education or commensurate experience in the architecture, engineering or construction industry
- Professional registration as an Architect
- Minimum of 5 years in a project management position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Deltek Vantagepoint
- Effective communication skills to allow for engaging collaboration with clients, consultants, and project teams
