About the role

A Project Manager with a strong architectural background and preferably with an active architectural license is needed to lead impactful architectural projects from planning and design through construction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage architectural projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery
  • Serve as primary client contact throughout project development
  • Oversee the preparation and review of design documentation and construction drawings
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations
  • Support internal resourcing, consultant coordination, and team performance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and AECOM standards
  • May manage various size groups of architects, designers and/or specialists
  • May work on modest size projects and/or assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers with higher grades
  • Provide architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned project

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s from an accredited program with 6+ years of professional experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program preferred
  • Licensed Architect in California preferred
  • Experience in architectural project management, including experience in California market
  • Proven experience managing projects of varying scales and complexities
  • Proficiency in design and project management software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Project
  • LEED Accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices preferred
  • Strong understanding of California building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with public and private sector projects, including mixed-use, commercial, and institutional developments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

$130,000 to $160,000 annually.
