Architectural Planner II - Facilities Planning and Management
About the role
Schedules 40 hours per week. Supports strategic facility projects, ensuring efficiency within budget constraints. Works closely with departments to plan and manage projects.
Responsibilities
- Supports strategic efforts by delivering detailed analyses of project productivity and efficiency.
- Conducts needs assessments and proposes solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Leads project management initiatives and ensures smooth transitions from planning to implementation.
- Develops detailed conceptual planning, programming, and estimating, and supports project transition.
- Participates in planning and supports the development of information for presentations and negotiations.
- Remains aligned with WashU Medicine Senior Administration directives and plans.
- Engages in complex scheduling planning, monitors work in progress, and documents efforts using assigned technology, tools, processes, and templates.
- Consults with departments to qualify and quantify planning details.
- Serves as an ambassador of the department by promoting a positive image through courtesy, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Assists in scope development for the planning group and may participate in RFQs or services, as well as for assigned studies and planning projects.
- Supports ongoing initiatives for negotiations and contracting.
- Estimates project cost, evaluates proposed modifications and changes, and offers recommendations and solutions for efficiency and favorability in expenditures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

$84,200.00 - $148,500.00 / Annually
