Architectural Draftsman

About the role

Courtyard Modern Builders LLC is seeking a seasoned full-time Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Sarasota, FL. With a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000/year depending on years of experience, level of training and software capability.

Responsibilities

• Must be an expert in AUTOcad, REVIT, 3-D modeling and BIM
• Must have advanced computer skills
• Must know how to use Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with BuilderTrend is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of current codes and the ability to look up codes
• Good communication skills is a must with clients and vendors
• Must know how to interpret boundary surveys and topography surveys
• Must know how to read Truss Plans
• Able to complete projects in a timely manner
• 5-10 years' verifiable experience required working for a residential home builder or architect
• Be prepared to demonstrate your skills during a 30 minute timed test drawing a section detail
• Experience collaborating directly with clients, architects, and engineers to create permit-ready construction plans is ideal!
