About the role

Join PM Group’s growing Philadelphia-area team in Conshohocken, PA. Our office delivers cutting-edge projects for Pharmaceutical, Biologics, and Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing facilities—from feasibility through qualification—for both local and international clients. We are seeking an Architectural Designer passionate about design, with a strong understanding of technical architecture and a desire to grow within the Life Sciences industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts and design intent from design briefs
  • Prepare and coordinate project information for timely issue to the Project Architect, Client, Contractor, and project team
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Support the Project Architect in setting up project files and ensuring compliance with PM Group procedures
  • Participate in regular site visits as applicable to the project
  • Complete assignments in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate design and construction information within quality, time, and cost constraints
  • Foster a collaborative team spirit and contribute to the development of self and others
  • Proactively promote Design Risk Assessment best practices and address hazards during early design phases
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and strong interpersonal skills
  • Keep stakeholders informed and motivate others through enthusiasm and recognition
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • A professional degree in Architecture is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Architectural design work
  • Life Science industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage time efficiently to meet project goals
  • Good understanding of all disciplines involved in project execution
