Architectural Designer I (On-site)

About the Role

This position involves designing and producing construction documents for limited-scope projects under the supervision of a Senior Project Coordinator, Project Architect, or Project Manager. The role requires basic design skills, document setup and coordination, and adherence to standard architectural practices and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of construction documents and specifications.
• Apply general knowledge of methods, materials, and detailing.
• Complete designated scope of work within the allotted time budget.
• Assist with the permitting process, including responding to comments.
• Support administrative tasks for bidding procedures and construction administration.
• Participate in site visits.
• Research and apply applicable basic code issues.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines.
• Develop basic presentation skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 1 to 4 years of experience in an architectural firm or field.
• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
• Basic understanding of architecture, building construction, and building codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
