Architectural Designer - Experienced

Benchmark Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our Project Team of Choice. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Utilize architectural design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects.
• Train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks.
• Design and develop construction documents for a range of project types including healthcare facilities, educational facilities, churches, hospitality, and retail/commercial design.
• Use specialized experience or relevant design experience in one or more of the specified areas.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality design outcomes.
• May require minimal travel as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of applicable work experience and demonstrated proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• A Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field from an accredited college or university, with at least 1 year of work experience in the Architectural design industry, or a combination of education and work experience in the Architectural field equivalent to 5 years.
• Preferred 3 or more years of work experience with Revit and design.
• 2+ years specific experience creating design documents, working in prototypical design, using families, detailing architectural elements, etc.
• Specialized experience or applicable design experience in one or more of the following: healthcare facilities, educational facilities, churches, hospitality, retail/commercial design.
