Architectural Designer - Experienced

Benchmark Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join their Project Team of Choice. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Utilize architectural design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects.
• Train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks.
• Design and develop construction documents for a range of project types including healthcare facilities, educational facilities, churches, hospitality, and retail/commercial design.
• Work with specialized experience or relevant design experience in healthcare, educational, religious, hospitality, and commercial design.
• Use REVIT software to design and develop construction documents.
• May require minimal travel.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience and demonstrated proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• A Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field from an accredited college or university, combined with 3 years of work experience in the Architectural design industry, or a combination of education and work experience in the Architectural field that equals 7 years.
• Preferred 2 years of specific experience creating design documents, working in prototypical design, using families, detailing architectural elements, etc.
• Specialized experience or applicable design experience in one or more of the following: healthcare facilities, educational facilities, churches, hospitality, retail/commercial design.

Qualifications

Must have a strong understanding of REVIT to design and develop construction documents for various project types.

• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work collaboratively with licensed professionals.
• Experience in healthcare, educational, religious, hospitality, and commercial design.
