Architectural Designer

About the role

Texas Roadhouse is seeking Architectural Designers to join their Support Center team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, collaboration, and a passion for transforming spaces into the signature Texas Roadhouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural and kitchen equipment drawings (AutoCAD) for new builds, remodels, and special initiatives
• Partner with Design, Construction, Operations, and Procurement to deliver smart, functional spaces
• Review and maintain CAD/PDF drawing sets to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
• Support remodel projects through site verification and adapting designs to real-world conditions
• Produce custom drawings and updates to support ongoing restaurant needs
• Maintain and evolve prototype drawing libraries and design standards
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to keep projects moving on time

Requirements

• Preferred degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field
• 3-5 years of architectural drafting/design experience (restaurant, hospitality, or commercial preferred)
• Strong AutoCAD skills (SketchUp/Revit a plus)
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and team-first attitude

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
