Primary Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation and refinement of construction drawings and specifications for both public and private clients.
- Perform fieldwork including investigations, measurements, photography, and documentation of existing conditions.
- Carry out calculations, analyze data, and produce decision matrices to support design objectives.
- Utilize computer drafting and design software such as AutoCAD.
- Engage in client interactions and collaborate with other Project Team members.
Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a consulting environment.
- Experience working with municipalities and other government agencies is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interest in developing detailed designs for diverse projects with complex conditions.
Physical Demands
- Occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, handling, feeling, operating office equipment, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling.
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
- General office environment.
- Some travel both domestically and internationally may be required based on business needs.
