Architectural Designer

Responsibilities

• Using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors from the guidance of a Project Architect
• Assist with Building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for projects
• Assist with Building code reviews and compliant studies, under the guidance of a Project Architect
• Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications

Requirements

• An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar
• 2-8 years of applicable experience preferred
• American design drafting association (ADDA) certification preferred
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software; experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred
• Knowledge of building design, specifications, and construction documents
• Applicants must be proficient in technical writing and possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively within a project team environment
• The desire to learn quickly and be self-motivated
• To take personal responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of assignments on various projects

Pay

Estimated Pay Range: $28-35/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
