Architectural Designer

Responsibilities

• Create architectural concepts for multifamily, mixed-use, and hospitality developments
• Develop exterior elevations, facade studies, and building articulation strategies
• Produce massing studies and design options for urban and constrained sites
• Translate design ideas into SketchUp and Revit models
• Generate multiple design alternatives for internal and client presentations
• Prepare renderings, graphics, diagrams, and presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite
• Support schematic design and early design-development efforts
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into evolving concepts
• Communicate design intent clearly to project teams and leadership
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and project stakeholders throughout the design process

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• Approximately 3–5 years of professional architectural experience
• Experience supporting multifamily residential projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating: Exterior elevations, Building massing, Facade design, Architectural concept development, Visual communication skills
• Proficiency with: SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Ability to generate architectural ideas through both hand sketching and digital modeling
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Downtown Los Angeles three days per week
