About the role

This position is within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Common Services (CS), which is responsible for establishing, integrating, and maintaining ERP applications. ERP CS supports the deployment of the Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay System (AFIPPS-ACAT I), Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS-ACAT I), and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Initiative (MROi-BCAT II). This role supports AFLCMC/GBE.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with DISA, Cloud One, Oracle, Cloud Service Providers, and other key vendors.
  • Determine gaps between current and target architecture and recommend transition plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies.
  • Educate customers and stakeholders on the use and value of enterprise architecture by developing key relationships and promoting service offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for mission partners to consume service offerings delivered by system implementers.
  • Provide enterprise architecture guidance, support, and coordination to customers and IT project teams in areas such as DISA, Cloud service providers (specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), Oracle hardware/SuperCluster, Oracle Database, Applications, Middleware (OIAM, SOA, OSB, OEM, BI), DevSecOps, Dev Tools, Test Tools, Networking, F5 (Big IP), and other enterprise-grade software systems.
  • Analyze and implement DoW Cyber requirements such as RMF.
  • Document enterprise architecture infrastructure, including business units and key processes, using modeling techniques.
  • Ensure technical integration across the enterprise and mission partners by participating in test planning, validation, and reviews.
  • Evaluate the impact of enterprise architecture products and services on IT investments, business operations, stakeholder satisfaction, and other outcomes.
  • Coordinate and conduct governance and portfolio management activities to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and information security/cybersecurity policies.
  • Review and assist in leading architecture and design for migration to FedRAMP and DoD SRG-approved Cloud environments, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and may include DISA, AWS, Azure, and other Cloud Service Providers.
  • Assist in establishing a DISA Cloud Access Point (CAP) and cloud inter-connects.
  • Optimize customer and developer quality of life by recommending policies and principles to guide technology decisions for enterprise architecture.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other Engineering Discipline and 5 years of experience, 3 of which must be in or support of the DoW.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other Engineering Discipline and 7 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 4 of which must be in the DoW.
  • OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoW.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience developing, deploying, or maintaining operational cloud (OCI, AWS, and/or Azure) environments with an emphasis on federal or DoW systems (GovCloud, Cloud One).
  • Cloud Certification preferred, relevant to position and product(s) supported.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.
  • Active Secret security clearance (required to start).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud experience (OCI).
  • Atlassian Tool suite.
  • Agile Development methodologies.
  • ServiceNow.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
