Architect Level II
About the role
We are currently seeking exceptional applicants for a full-time Architect position with 6–8 years of continuous post-graduate experience. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, leadership, real responsibility, and collaboration. You will work on high-profile projects with ambitious design goals, closely with principals while managing projects from initial conception through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial conception through implementation
- Coordinate drawing sets with consultants and produce specifications
- Oversee agency approvals (NYC Landmarks, SHPO, Public Design Commission, and Building Codes)
- Provide construction administration services
- Contribute to all aspects of a project in all phases
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Solid construction document experience with a focus on architectural detailing
- Technical intelligence with regard to building systems
- Excellent leadership ability and high-level written and verbal communication skills
- Critically thoughtful, conceptually based, and process-oriented design ability
- Collaborative yet self-directed; highly motivated, proactive, and resourceful
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Software, and Rhino
- BIM Project Management experience
- Experience with sustainable and resilient project design
