Responsibilities
- Develop and lead design for historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects.
- Conduct architectural assessments, including research and site facility evaluations.
- Prepare documentation for historic local review boards, plan reviewers, preservation programs, and various review entities.
- Cook up with consultants, engineers, contractors, and preservation agencies.
- Manage construction documents and oversee construction administration as required on a project-by-project basis.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (Required).
- Architectural licensure (Preferred).
- 3+ years of relevant experience; adaptive reuse renovations and restoration.
- Familiarity with historic materials, conservation techniques, and regulatory processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and client communication skills.
- A passion for architecture and a sensitivity to place, context, and community.
