Position Title: Architect Digital Manufacturing Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid) Start date: 07/08/2023 End date: 02/02/2024 - 6 months CTH Top Three Technical Skills MES platform experience C# .NET & MS SQL Server T-SQL OPC UA Main Duties Leads the design, development, and implementation of MES/MOM and system integration solutions projects Responsible for customer requirements elicitation, requirements documentation, specification development, solution architecture, and design decisions for prioritized projects Effectively works with implementation partners and development teams to efficiently translate business requirements into functional capabilities Assesses complex technical environments and defines requirements for integration of new solutions, maintenance, and optimization Ensures solutions are scalable and can be sustained with close adherence to reference architectures and standards Interacts and works with customers at multiple levels of responsibility in a manufacturing or production environment Collaborates with business partners to advise, define and deliver capabilities in alignment with business and IT strategy Typical Day Works with end-users to create user stories for system requirements and required capabilities. Works with project teams to review system requirements and create/revise functional specifications. Creates system and data reference architecture diagrams. Work with technical resources across the IS organization to design and implement required data interfaces and database structures. Works between implementation partner and end-user to clarify user stories/requirements, design system workflows, and develop and test system capabilities. Must Haves (i.e., years of experience?) Minimum Of 10 Years’ Experience In Software Development Minimum 6 years’ experience developing or leading the development of MES, MOM, or manufacturing applications Software Skills And Purpose (if Applicable) MES platform experience Experience configuring and developing Parsec TrakSYS applications Strong experience with C# .NET & MS SQL Server Experience with T-SQL Experience with 3rd party web controls (DevExtreme or equivalent) Experience with OPC UA Industry Experience Industry experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods or Food & Beverage preferred. What do you foresee as being the biggest challenge in this position? Defining the data and interface requirements for providing the master data and operational data required to calculate KPIs and metrics.
