About the role

A New York City-based architectural practice is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer or Project Architect to support multiple active residential and institutional projects. You will work directly with the firm’s owner and lead project architects to advance work from Design Development through final Construction Documents, ensuring design intent, technical accuracy, and coordination across consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural designs from Design Development through Construction Documents
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Maintain design intent while resolving technical and code-related issues
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, landscape) and integrate their input
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction administration
• Support project scheduling and budget tracking as needed
